Mark your calendars for our annual FOLKLOREADA, a FREE outdoor community festival from 2-6pm on Sunday, May 14 2023!

Experience an afternoon of entertainment by talented dance companies & musicians plus craft vendors, food trucks, and fun.

This Sunday afternoon event is suitable for all ages and we encouraged you to bring your mothers & grandmothers as part of their Mother’s Day celebration!

Spend time with members of your San José community and welcome visitors from other areas to this unique cultural experience.

The Cashion Cultural Legacy and Los Lupeños de San Jose welcome Mestizos Del Valle to our upcoming @FOLKLOREADA on Sunday, May 14 at the School of Arts & Culture.

This Fresno-based dance company, founded in 2009, is directed by Vicente & Raul Domínguez with the purpose of reconnecting Fresno’s Chicano community with their Mexican Heritage. Its goal is to touch the lives of as many people as possible with the deeply rooted and cherished traditions of folklórico. The group takes part in a variety of events, mesmerizing audiences with their energy and charisma.

The group’s love for Mexican folklore is constantly growing and forever reflecting their qualities, evidenced by captivating performances and articulated dances.
