Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Mexican folklórico dance and music, showcased by talented groups and musicians. But that’s not all!

The festival also features craft vendors, food trucks, and a variety of fun activities for all ages.

Since its inception in February 2005, Ballet Folklórico Mexicano Fuego Nuevo, Inc. has been a beacon of Mexican cultural expression, founded by Miguel Ángel Martínez and José Luis Juárez, both former members of the Ballet Folklórico Nacional de México Aztlán.

Their mission is to celebrate and share the richness of Mexican folklore through vibrant dance and mesmerizing footwork. Today, a diverse group of talented dancers embodies the essence of Mexican culture, spanning pre-Hispanic, Colonial, and Transcendence eras. Fuego Nuevo invites all who cherish their heritage or seek to embrace it to join in their cultural journey.

2023 event:

The Cashion Cultural Legacy and Los Lupeños de San Jose welcome Mestizos Del Valle to our upcoming @FOLKLOREADA on Sunday, May 14 at the School of Arts & Culture.

This Fresno-based dance company, founded in 2009, is directed by Vicente & Raul Domínguez with the purpose of reconnecting Fresno’s Chicano community with their Mexican Heritage. Its goal is to touch the lives of as many people as possible with the deeply rooted and cherished traditions of folklórico. The group takes part in a variety of events, mesmerizing audiences with their energy and charisma.

The group’s love for Mexican folklore is constantly growing and forever reflecting their qualities, evidenced by captivating performances and articulated dances.
