11:30am – 1:00pm: DJ Smooth
1:00 – 2:30pm: Bachata lessons with Ngoc Huynh and Tien Tran
2:30 – 4:00pm: DJ DannyG
4:00 – 5:15ish: DJ Encannto
5:15: Three performances with
KnockOut Dance, Fontao Dance Fusion, and Carisma Dance Company.
5:30 – 7:00: DJ KrisKros
7:00ish: Birthday dances
7:00pm – 8:30: DJ Thiencito
LIVE DJs with DJ Smooth, DJ Encannto, DJ DannyG, DJ KrisKros, DJ Thiencito
Bachata lessons at 1:00pm with Ngoc Huynh.
Intermission Performances at 5:15 PM ish.
Only 3 performances scheduled so expect a short break of about 6-10 minutes, and then it’s back to dancing.
Bachata by the Basin was the event in 2021 that got us to where we are today. Back in 2022 we did a series of fun interviews which included this forgotten footage between Ngoc Huynh KO and Phil Nguyen and Newsparx Photography & Media .
We keep doing Bachata by the Basin as a way to remind ourselves of our humble roots, and thank our dance community for their years of support for Hello Bachata, HELLO Kizomba, and soon Hello Bachata Festival.
