Doors open at 7pm for seating, drinks and light snacks. Performance starts at 8pm.
This show is a very special FAREWELL PERFORMANCE for our flamenco guitarist DAVID PÁEZ. This will be his last public show in the Bay before he moves back to his hometown of Córdoba, Spain 🇪🇸!
It will also be a RETURN TO THE STAGE show for our guitarist, GOPAL SLAVONIC, who is celebrating recovery from a life-threatening illness.
The Evening:
Everything starts when you arrive at 7pm to grab your seats and enjoy a pre-show set by LoCura Trio at 7:30pm.
You’ll delight in light snacks from Makrubiotic by Raul Vargas, a concept offering authentic Spanish-themed small bite flamenco pairings. You can stroll the indoor space and view the truly unique art work and sculpture by founder Peter Voulkos. Go through a side door and enter a magical outdoor garden space with more artwork and fragrant night air.
Grab your seats for the flamenco set at 8pm which will feature pieces from the sold out “Flamenco a las 8” performance in April You’ll also see some special flamenco collaborations with Luna Carmen on her cello, Katiana Vilá on percussion and vocals and Gopal Slavonic on guitar. Make your reservations to guarantee your seat!
Suggested donation $20.00 per person (please make a separate reservation for each person in your party). Thanks to The Dome, the performers receive 100% of your donations.

Biography Melissa Cruz:
She began training with the Bay Area’s acclaimed flamenco master Rosa Montoya and soon thereafter, joined Ms. Montoya’s professional company. Melissa has performed as a soloist in the San Francisco International Arts Festival and has presented in eight San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festivals, twice as a featured soloist.
In 2013, she was commissioned to present a solo representing the genre of flamenco in the San Francisco Isadora Duncan Awards CeremonyEnjoying a concurrent musical career, she is percussionist/drummer/dancer with several active musical projects. She currently continues as principal dancer and choreographer for the San Francisco Flamenco Dance Company and has collaborated with Flamenco Fever (Dallas) Oleaje Flamenco (Seattle), Quiero Flamenco (Spokane), Arte y Pasion (San Antonio), Ballet Flamenco La Rosa, (Miami), Tucson Flamenco Festival (Tucson) St. Louis Flamenco Society (St. Louis MO), Flamenco Pacifico (Portland OR) Theatre
