The concert will be a serenata of tropical string music from the mountains of Puerto Rico (música jíbara) and the mountains of Brazil (choro music), samba as well as Caribbean and Latin-American classics.

Featuring legendary Edwin Colón-Zayas, cuatro puertorriqueño, joined by the warm sensual voice of Bay Area Boricua Madeleine Zayas and top Bay Area musicians José Roberto Hernández on guitar and vocals, Román “Ito” Carrillo and Julio Pérez on percussion, Brian Rice on Brazilian pandeiro, Josh Jones on drumset, Gabriela Quintana-García on vocals and Fernanda Bustamante on violin and vocals.
Special appearance by Alessandro Penezzi, world renown virtuoso guitarist direct from Brazil and stellar Jackie Rago on maracas and cuatro venezolano.
