About Braulio:
Braulio Barrera is a singer/percussionist who also worked with the gamma of Peruvian singers such as Cecilia Barraza, Lucila Campos, and many other musicians.

He was a staple in many of peñas and back alley jams where cajon players honed their skills, developing Shaolin type mastery of a bare hand against a wooden box.
Coming to the San Francisco Bay Area, he has played with the Grammy-winning Pacific Mambo Orchestra and many other salsa bands, opening for a who’s who of modern salsa. He also played on the BAFTA-winning soundtrack, The Motorcycle Diaries with Gustavo Santaolalla and fronts his own salsa band , Somos el Son.
