Join us for the second session of our community poetry workshop series, inspired by The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros. Presented by Teatro Visión and the Culture Counts Reading Series, this free, bilingual workshop invites youth and community members to explore themes of identity, memory, and place through creative expression.

No experience necessary—all are welcome! Selected poems will be featured in a public poetry reading and during Teatro Visión’s staged production of The House on Mango Street this May.

Explore themes of identity, memory, and home while creating original poetry alongside fellow community members. No experience needed—just a desire to express yourself and connect with others through art.
