You might remember local San José playwright Maribel Martinez from our production of Becoming (MAR) in April 2022. MAR told the story of a gender-expansive teen learning self-acceptance throught the powerful medicine that is carried by ancestral teachings.
Now, Maribel is presenting an exciting next story in Mar’s journey, Mar in the Middle!

In this installment, Mar grapples with expectations and managing relationships. While in the Inbetween, Florentina hopes to keep things up on her watch.
