[free] Farmworker Caravan Conference + Campesinas en Paz Retreat // San Juan Bautista
Thanks to all of our generous funders (see below) and individual donors we are now able to offer FREE PASSES to the Farmworker Caravan Conference + Campesinas en Paz Retreat.
It’s at the Saint Francis Retreat Center in San Juan Bautista from July 28-30, 2023.
It’s FREE to all nonprofit agencies and individuals working with the farmworker community.
The weekend will feature:
- Town Hall with Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren
- 30+ Amazing Experts and Speakers
- Mexican Indigenous Cultural Competency Session
- Keynote Speech by Maria Catalan who went from Farmworker to Farm Owner
and because it can’t all be work:
- Lakeside Dinner with the relaxing sounds of Jose Robert Hernandez
- Closing Celebration with lively salsa and cumbias by Jeri y El Kombo Clasiko
- Special Appearance by artist and composer Alejandro Bassi
- Lakeside Reflection Walks, Creative Arts Classes & Nature Photo Sessions +++
